Meet the Team with Caitlin Sacre

Date 31 August 2025

As we continue our Meet the Team Q&As, we caught up with our Registered Manager, Caitlin Sacre.

Caitlin joined the business in September 2024 as Home Care Manager and has progressed to become the youngest Registered Manager in the country, which is no mean feat!

She has worked in the care sector since the age of 17, including as a Care Assistant and Care Coordinator before managing a healthcare recruitment branch.

We’re incredibly proud to have Caitlin as part of our growing team.

Caitlin Sacre.

Tell us about your role and what it involves

My responsibility is to oversee and manage the running of My Caring. This includes staff and service users, managing rotas and doing spot checks, and supervising them when they’re with service users to ensure they’re doing everything correctly.

I ensure we’re meeting the needs of service users by placing the right staff in the right places at the right times with the highest quality training.

My current role, which also includes Care Coordinator until the business expands, is also about making sure we meet any changing needs and extra care which service users may have, reviewing this whenever necessary.

I complete care package reviews, investigate any incidents or accidents and ensure we meet all safeguarding rules in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.

What’s the best thing about your job and why?

Creating and maintaining relationships with service users in the community and staff, which includes complex care assistants, care assistants and support workers.

I love getting to know them and making sure we’re all working towards the same goals of providing the highest quality service every day.

Why do you love being part of the My Caring team?

I have a great, supportive team around me and while we are a separate business to our sister company, Care Connection Partners, we share the same head office and everyone is amazing.

I look forward to coming to work and it feels a bit too good to be true! Everyone is so generous and kind, and our culture is very caring.

What does #feelthelove mean to you?

It means treating our staff and service users like family while maintaining professional boundaries at the same time.

We care for them in a way that they #feelthelove every day and we treat everyone with dignity and respect. Everything we do is with love.

Tell us something about yourself which people may not know.

My fiancé, Nathan, is a Business Development Manager at our sister company, Care Connection Partners, I’m a mum of two and I’m progressing my career by becoming the youngest Registered Manager in the country.

I also used to play the violin!
