Complex Care

We provide specialist, person-centred care for adults and children living with complex, life changing conditions – supporting individuals to live safely, comfortable and with as much independence as possible in their own homes.

Our expertise includes:

  • Neurological conditions
  • Brain and spinal injuries
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Complex nutritional needs, including enteral feeding
  • Continence care, including intermittent catheterisation and bowel irrigation
  • Respiratory care, including tracheostomy, ventilation and suction (oral clearance, oropharyngeal suction, nasopharyngeal suction)

We work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and dieticians, ensuring every package of care is safe, effective and tailored to the individual.

Delivering Safe, Specialist Support

Our staff are highly trained to meet complex clinical needs while maintaining a compassionate, person-centred approach.

They closely monitor individuals’ health and wellbeing, ensuring any changes are identified early and communicated effectively with families and professionals

We are committed to:

  • Promoting dignity, privacy and independence at all times
  • Listening to and respecting individual choices and preferences
  • Building strong, consistent relationships between staff and those we support

Medication & clinical safety

Where required, we support individuals with their medication safely and responsibly, including “as required” (PRN) medication, following robust protocols and clear clinical guidance.

We maintain high standards of infection prevention and control, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone we support.

Working in partnership

We recognise that care is most effective when delivered collaboratively.

That’s why we work in partnership with families, professionals and individuals to ensure care remains responsive, relevant and aligned with their goals.

Regular reviews are carried out to ensure support continues to meet changing needs and delivers the best possible outcomes.

Care that fits around you

We understand that inviting care into your home is a big decision.

Our approach is always respectful, discreet and shaped around your routines, preferences and family life, making care feel as natural and non-intrusive as possible.

Clinical training

We place a strong emphasis on high-quality clinical training to ensure our team can safely and confidently support individuals with complex needs.

All clinical training is delivered by our experienced Band 8 nurse, Amanda Lambert, who brings advanced clinical knowledge and leadership into every aspect of staff development.

Training includes:

  • Theory-based learning to build knowledge and understanding
  • Practical, hands-on training to develop real world skills
  • Competency assessments to ensure staff can safely apply their knowledge and skills

This structured approach ensures all staff are not only fully trained, but fully competent and confident in delivering specialist care.

Safe, skilled and continuously developing

We believe training is not a one-off event.

Our staff receive ongoing supervision, refreshers and competency reviews to maintain the highest standards of care.

This ensures:

  • Safe and effective delivery of clinical interventions
  • Consistency across all care packages
  • Confidence for families and professionals
  • A workforce that is continuously developing and improving

What does this mean for you?

For the people we support and their families, this means peace of mind, knowing that care is delivered by a team which is skilled, supported and held to high clinical standards.
